  • Nature Exploration - Sacred Sites and a Hidden Gem

    Welcome to Mo’orea, a heart shaped island in French Polynesia

    We will explore the majestic mountains in the center of the island. there are ancient sacred sites nested in those mountains, we will hold a meditation there and connect with the waters of the mountains and swim in the river. We will also visit a vanilla farm and top our day with a delicious lunch with local cuisine at a beautiful cafe in the mountains - a hidden gem in nature with breathtaking views of the ocean.

    Let’s dive deep into ourselves and have a whale of a time! This retreat is specifically curated for adults for a profound immersion of swimming with our Gentle Giants - the humpback whales. This is a trip of a lifetime! will spend 8 days and 7 nights on the tropical island of Moorea, a short ferry ride from Tahiti.

  • Extravaganza Evening - Cultural Immersion

    One evening we will join the Polynesian culture and see a live show with fire dancers and Tahitian traditions accompanied by an authentic buffet dinner. A real feast! All food options available. an abundance of appetizers, entrees and desserts ranging from vegetarian options to fish and to roasted pork traditionally cooked in the earth Polynesian style. a great opportunity to connect and learn from the open heartedness, pure joy and wisdom of the native Polynesians - these people are so immaculate in their capacity to give and receive.

  • 3 Meals per day crafted by a private chef

    We will enjoy vegan food prepared by a private chef from local sourced ingredients. 3 meals per day.* There will be several dishes at each meal and always dessert. In the morning, there are usually smoothies, fruits, “Yum-o-fruits”, buckwheat pancakes (for those with gluten intolerance), local bread, jams, vegan spreads. In the evening the chef will prepare a fresh vegetable soup accompanied by several other light dishes. 

    There will be options of vegan steaks made from Uru and Cassava (several flavors: Indian/Provençal/Mexican and 100% local) and specialties made from cassava. Also a whole range of very original vegan tapas ideal for light and fresh meals. The products are 80% local, from the garden and the Lycée's organic farm. The rest comes from “ma’a en pot” (bulk groceries) or organic dry products. Gluten free and vegetarian options available.

    *All meals will be provided with the exception of 1 dinner on the last day of retreat - you will have the opportunity to explore the island and try a local restaurant.

    To swim with the humpback whales in Tahiti you, as you guessed it, need to be able to swim. You don’t need to be a ninja in the water but you do need to be comfortable enough to swim in the open ocean. Boats can’t go too close so you will have to swim at least 100m to the whale. If you get cold easily do bring your own wetsuit. Besides the whales it is likely we will see dolphins and flying fish.

  • Accommodation and Retreat Prices

    We will share the space as a community at the oceanfront villa with a pool and a private beach. Relax on the oceanfront porch or wake up to the sound of waves. The villa is located directly on the lagoon - it is ideal for kayaking, swimming, snorkeling or sunbathing sessions. ClearView kayaks, electric bicycles, paddle boards, and electric scooters are provided.

     

     

    Oceanfront villa

    The villa accommodates up to 11 people. It offers you a bright living / dining room open onto a beautiful kitchen, 1 master suite, 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All beds have matching, made in Europe luxury mattresses for your best comfort and relaxing sleep during your vacation, regardless of which bed or room you choose.

  • Travel recommendations:

    There are non-stop flights (8 hrs) from Los Angeles LAX Airport to Fa’a’a International Airport (PPT) in Tahiti. We recommend taking overnight flights that arrive on August 19th early morning Tahiti Time. We will meet the morning of August 19th, 2024 at 8:00AM at the airport and take a van as a group to the ferry station (transfer included). There is a restaurant with breakfast options at the ferry station (not included in retreat price). We will depart at 12:25PM with the ferry from Tahiti to Mo’orea (about 45 minutes ride). Participants that will arrive later or the night before could meet us at the ferry station in Tahiti by 11:00AM, we will provide tickets to the ferry. Note: If you choose to come in earlier than the morning of August 19th, there is an airport hotel we recommend : www.tahitiairportmotel.net (Not Included in retreat fee) We will take the Ferry to Moorea as a group. Round-trip Ferry tickets included. We will take a transfer vehicle on Moorea to our villa. Transfer is Included.

     

    Travelers Insurance: we highly recommend you getting travel insurance within 2 weeks of purchasing your airline tickets unless you’re able to fly with free air miles.
